
Kinases are essential regulators of cell signaling pathways, transferring the terminal phosphate group from ATP to the serine, threonine, or tyrosine residues of target proteins. Using custom-synthesized, addressable peptide microarrays (PepArray™) containing specific kinase substrates on a custom-synthesized, addressable LC Sciences' peptide microarray (PepArray™), we can quantitatively measure kinase activity across a wide range of signaling networks.

Quantitative Results

All assays use universal, highly phosphate-specific fluorescent dye staining. Well-designed negative and positive control references ensure reliable and quantifiable results. In situ–synthesized PKS peptide microarrays, using LC Sciences’ PepArray™ microfluidic technology, deliver more uniform spots and provide a more reliable readout of assay signals. Multiple replicates of each peptide sequence also contributes to data confidence.
High-Throughput Microarray Format
Traditional kinase assays focus on only a single or a few peptide or protein substrates. Profiling kinases on a peptide microarray offers the opportunity to study thousands of specific substrates (up to thousands of peptides per chip) in a single experiment. Custom Microarray Content
Customize one of our standard microarrays or design your own PKS peptide microarray. We can synthesize a fully custom microarray designed specifically for your experiment. Our standard format includes 4,000 customer-defined peptide sequences per chip, but arrays with longer peptides and higher densities available.
